H there dear 49 and Market fans!
“Vintage Artistry – Wedgewood Collection” is definitely one of my favorite collections. The color combination is fantastic and obviously coordinates so well with my photographs as I often use pictures of my daughter, Electra with her wild ginger mane! This collection is retired now, but maybe you are lucky enough to find it at your local scrapbook store.
I used “Vintage Artistry Wedgewood: Sublime” as background, trimmed smaller, and adhered to “Vintage Artistry Wedgewood: Revel” to form a frame. I punched a “Notepaper” border on the top edge to create some interest.
The design of the paper is so amazing you actually do not have to do anything to it! although I did add a little subtle dimension with embossing paste and a stencil and of course a few Rub-on Transfers randomly across the page.
I created a small embellishment cluster on the bottom left of the page with flowers, laser-cut butterfly and twig, and a piece of the chipboard filmstrip that I colored with Copper wax, on a piece of the View-master wheel. To create depth, I drew a thin black line around the piece of View-master wheel. You will also notice the Rub-on transfers again!
The photograph is matted on a piece of “Wedgewood – Revel” paper cut from the center of the page and layered on elements from the Wedgewood Ephemera Stack and Wedgewood Laser-cut pages, and Rub-on Transfers, also from the Wedgewood Collection. The chipboard film strip is colored with Copper wax. I used the smaller flowers from Garden Petals – Salmon and Pixi petals – Parchment. The photograph is raised on cardboard.
A closer look at the gold flakes added randomly. I also added a few across the page. The main embellishment cluster is again layers of elements from the two Wedgewood Laser-cut pages, Ephemera stack, flowers, and Rub-on transfers. I colored the edges of the View-master wheels with Copper wax again and accentuated it with a thin black pen. The sentiment is raised with foam tape.
