Hello everyone, I’m happy to be here again to share with you my first August’s page. I decided to use the Delicate and Perennial sheets from the Vintage Artistry Sage collection. I used a recent photo of my grandson, he still lets himself be photographed, so I have to enjoy till I can. That is also why I chose this title from the collection.
First, I applied a layer of clear gesso, then I cut a strip of the Perennial sheet on which I applied clear gesso too. I punched some design. To add some texture to the background, I added a design with a stencil and modeling paste. I splattered the background with Lindy’s Gang inks: Ponderosa Pines Olive, Cattail Copper Brown, and Blue Hawaiian Blue.
I want a lot of papers and embellishments layers, so I used a lot of laser-cut elements from the collection. The choice is varied, there’s something for everyone. I like it!
Of course, I added some flowers too. I chose two colors, the grey one to remind the photo ad the green one to add some brightness. And the butterfly in the middle of the flowers is it not fantastic! And to finish I added my favorite Wishing Bubbles, I used the Fizz ones to contrast.
