Hello, 49 and Market fans!
It’s Antonia on the blog once again sharing a new layout! I must confess that the first time I had the Plum collection on my hands, I thought it was “not for me”. Plum has never been a color I liked, so I set the collection aside to start playing with more colorful ranges. But thinking about this month’s layout I came to this photo and guess what? The plump collection was perfect for it! And after playing with the various elements of the collection, I should say that my first impression was wrong: these are very easy to combine papers with a beautiful and elegant touch. Maybe you can feel it on my project!
As I always do -first things first, I attached the background paper onto a 2 mm cardboard. This background paper caught my eye at first sight. Then it was time to play with some laser-cut elements and ephemera bits. I love them, they are always perfect for any project, and this time I used them to mat my photo, mainly. Using a 4 mm cardboard from a box, I elevated all layers and started to work.
I added some rub-on transfers here and there, even to add a title on the downright corner. Afterward, I glued down the photo and started to add lots of flowers. The new range of soft lilac flowers is awesome, and I had to be careful not to add too much of them.
To finish the project, I added some art stones and old wishing bubbles in lilac.
