Hi everyone! As we wind down the year, we have one last holiday look for you.
Here is my last creation for the year 2019. I made a winter wonder layout perfect for this time of year. I do not like winter, but I love making creations with Christmas trees, snowflakes, deer, snow and more.
The pop of bright red certainly fills the air with holiday cheer! So here is a look at my layout.
I used the beautiful Winters Edge collection. This collection is perfect for making Christmas layouts or cards, but also for winter layouts. As always, I first put a layer of transparent gesso on the background paper.
I made drops here and there by splashing some white ink and Distress Resist spray. This creates transparent drops. Next, I colored the chipboards with several Distress Oxide ink colors. I then cut out the Christmas tree shapes from the same collection paper as the background paper with a die. On the trees, I put a little Distress Resist spray on the branches to make them shine.
I cut the strip of fir trees at the bottom of the paper. In order to make a 3D effect, I glued several layers of cardboard underneath to pop everything up. I made my composition with assorted flowers, leaves, strings, badges, papers and some laser cut pieces from the Winters Edge collection.
I finished by putting a little Splash! Ink white on flowers, chipboards and fir trees with a brush.
