I can’t believe this moment arrive… this is my last layout for 49 and Market, I feel a bit sad but also so thankful for this wonderful year with 49 and Market. Today’s project is very special to me, I’ve been keeping this paper since the very first moment I receive 49 and Market DT parcel. I knew exactly what I wanted to do and which photo I wanted to use.
This paper from the Old School paper collection is called Penmanship and it was sooooo hard to choose which side I wanted to use because I really love both. That’s why I used Lindy’s Magicals to add a little color because as they are translucent the original paper design is still visible. I created a bokeh effect (you can watch the technique in the video) and then added interest to the background with some of my 49 and Market favorite stamps (see the list below).
Then I prepared some embellishments to make them look more wintery. I stamped on vellum paper and added white embossing powder, then I fussy cut these images to use them on the composition, getting a gorgeous contrast with the background. I also used Country Blooms but I added a sparkling touch with embossing glitter and they look amazing!
I also used some chipboards, tiny white flowers Sugar Steams and snowflakes dies to create the composition around a black and white winter photo of my husband and me. Some snow… it just needed some snow to be complete, so white splatters and this beautiful memory looks prettiest than ever.
