Hi everyone!
I hope you’re all doing well. Today I decided to show you that you don’t have to stop at the style of a collection to do the style you want to do. To make this vintage-looking page, I used a paper from the Spectrum Sherbet collection as background paper.
Looking at the colors of this paper I immediately thought of a vintage page. I started with a rectangular stencil with patterns reminiscent of an old carpet and two colors of Distress Archival Vintage photo ink and Fossilized amber. I weathered the chipboards with a coat of white gesso and embossed with Versamark and white embossing powder and for a slightly older look I put ochre matte wax here and there.
I cut out a round photo which I glued under the clock to make a frame. Then the bouquets of flowers!! once again I put a lot of flower on my creation, when I start to put some I have a lot of difficulty to stop. I added several laser cut pieces from the Vintage Artistry Mango and Vintage Artistry Hike More collections. I cut foliage with dies and colored them.
I made circles and coffee stains with rub-ons from the Curators Botanical collection. As usual I ended up with lots of white drops.
