Hello beautiful people.
Today as a project I have decided to make a fusion of a journal and an album, as you can see a vintage style very much in my line, full of beautiful black and white lace with a bow with silk ribbons as a closure.
I have made the album – journal with Australian binding with Vintage Artistry Essentials – 6 × 8 Collection Pack -, I think it is a perfect collection for this type of work.
I have taken advantage of the size of the sheets by adapting the project to its measurements, respecting all the beautiful illustrations.
Inside I have put different pockets, laser cut montages from the collection, with the Vintage Artistry Essentials – Ephemera Bits and with the Vintage Artistry Essentials – Chipboard Stickers. On the edges of some pages I have put some detail with Roughly Sewn Rub-Ons in White since it seems to me that it makes a very nice effect.
For the cover I have taken one of the cards, in this case, the one with the butterfly, I have framed it with one of the Vintage Artistry Essentials – Square File Frame Set to which I have put a few touches of Vintage Artistry Essentials – Washi Tape to leave a better finish. After much thought, since I like so many flower models, I decided to use the Majestic Bouquet – Ivory that I have placed them in two compositions creating a visual balance. Once finished I have added some pearls, gold glitter, and a sprinkle of white gesso for better integration.
I want to confess that I don’t use my albums – journal for photographs, I call them little paper jewels, I make them to admire and enjoy them as they are, I hope that, like me, you will also enjoy it.
