Hi everyone!
Today I’m with you to show you my first May creation. I used the beautiful and very colorful Spectrum Sherbet collection to make two cards.
To make these cards I used Spectrum Sherbet – 6×8 Tidal Wave Paper Collection, I love this size of paper for making cards. I started by cutting a 6×8 paper in half to make the two card bases, then I used two other papers which I cut a little smaller than the bases. The paper with lots of labels was perfect for my project, it immediately has a nice effect, it’s as if I had lots of pieces. I also stuck a few Spectrum Sherbet – Postmark Postage Washi Tape stamps onto each card.
On each card I put a small molded piece that I colored with chalk paint and Fluid acrylic. In the flower bouquets I put several laser cut pieces from the Spectrum Sherbet – Tidal Wave Laser Cut Elements package. I also cut out a few small bouquets of flowers from 6×8 paper.
I colored a few small ivory flowers with Acrylic Fluids and water so that they fit perfectly with the colors of the chosen papers. I added some foliage in acetate that I like a lot, it allows you to add color but all in transparency.
I finished with one word on each card, which are from Spectrum Sherbet – Wishing Bubbles and Baubles.
