Hello, 49 and Market fans!
I hope that you are enjoying this summertime with your beloved. Antonia with you today, sharing a new layout. Sometimes we all need to go back to our roots, and for me speaking about scrapbooking means earth colors. Green and brown are my fave: they never fail when creating a project. And it was a great opportunity to use the wonderful foliage die-cut pieces. They are very easy to be used and be photographed. They seem like a rub-on or even the pattern of the paper, but they highlight wonderfully on your work. In fact, they have become great embellishments on my layouts!
Well, I should say that I wanted also to return to my roots on creating distressed layouts, so I took two contrasting papers from the same collection and distressed all around on the above one. One of my fingerprints in the past was using embellishments on the paper corners, and this is what I did on this one. But focusing on the main part of the layout, the main decision was to create lots of layers before adding the photo of Cloe made by Carmen Gabaldón. As I wanted it to pop on the background, I worked hard on adding layers with flowers, resins, paper decorations…Stacks were also a great help for matting the photo and make it pop.
It was also important to add some messages to the project, and the laser cuts of the collection have some of them to choose among. Happy with the result, I added some wishing bubbles, art stones, and beads to finish the layout. I hope that you like it as much as I do.
