Hello everyone!
Today I bring you a project in which I created a design using a single paper pattern. It is a fun technique to add depth, interest, and texture on the background work. I used the lovely warm colors from the Bold and Beautiful collection to create this vintage layout. I made a step by step video tutorial so you can watch all the process and I hope to inspire you to give it a try.

I selected the Garden Letter paper that has a particular design with postcards. I cut it in pieces then distressed them, first with the scissor and next with vintage photo distress ink. I used a brown cardstock as a base to adhere all the pieces again and I saw all the paper borders with the sewing machine. I added textures and a design on the background using the Gabi’s Daisies Stamp Set with white embossing powder. I adhered two pieces of the Lacey Trims vertically for giving extra textures.

I place the beautiful photo by Jonathan Borba over a piece of cheesecloth then started to embellish with Treasure chipboards y 49 & Market-The Dustic Attic and the Enchanted Petals flowers in the Ballet Slipper color. This time I used a distress ink to add color over the stamp work and around the photo. Once dry I gave white paint splatters over the ink. Next, I added the brown gears pieces and few bubbles from the Serendipitous Layered Embellishment Set.

Finally, I adhered art stones and pearls with gel medium. Added more white paint splatters and with the scissor separated the borders of the postcards.
Well. I hope it inspires you all! Take a look at the video tutorial here…
