Hi everyone!!!
For my first creation in August I decided to make a small 10×10 canvas on a wooden board. I’m used to making pages, but these days I feel like doing something different. For this creation, I used the Remnants Mini collection. This collection is so beautiful!! Here is how I explain to you a little how I did it.
I started by choosing my papers. Then I decided to tear them up, yes yes I tore such beautiful papers. It’s always difficult for me to do this but I find it gives great results so don’t be afraid to do it too. I glued the papers on the wooden board and I put a layer of clear gesso over the entire surface. I made patterns with a stencil and Icing Paste White Gold. I used another stencil, a writing stencil, and Golden nugget paste.
I made small brick patterns with the Gabi’s Stoic Stamp Set with Versamark and embossing powder. I also stamped writing here and there with Archival black ink. To put a little more color on the background I used a few colors of paint and acrylic fluid diluted with water for a softer effect. I used a large window laser cut from the Vintage Artistry Butter collection to sit the little girl and a few laser cuts from the Remnants mini collection.
I altered the clock, heart, and title chipboards with two colors embossing powder and the foliage chipboards with paint and acrylic fluid. And now comes the time for flower bouquets, I used two colors of flowers, foliage and several flowers from the laser cut bonus sheet from the Remnants mini collection 12×12 kit.
I finished with a few butterflies and lots of white ink drops. I hope you enjoyed it and that I was able to inspire you for your next project.
