Traveling by Marie Sabatier

Hello everyone,
I am pleased to see you again to present my new layout of May created with the new collection «Vintage Artistry Anywhere». I love themed collections that give inspiration and allow me to stage souvenir photos. Here I use a photo of my granddaughter on the train station platform. I like this photo with the sunset and this little vintage effect.

I chose the paper «Edges» in pastel tones but quite neutral because I wanted to use the rub-on transfers of the same collection. I applied a layer of clear gesso on the page and then I arranged the rub-ons. I love to use them and I like the rendering effect.

I then started to dispose of the laser cut elements that are in the pack of the 12 X 12 collection and also a few «Ephemera Bits». I finally decided to use two identical photos but one in color and one in black & white to accentuate the vintage effect. And this beautiful sign (not too great!).

I continued to add embellishments papers all around the photos along with these beautiful flowers «Royal Spray Sunshine and Ocean Jade Paper Flowers» which are pure beauties.

To finish, I added some «Wishing Bubbles and Trinkets», some pebbles, drops of white gesso, and a little glitter. And this little clip envelope in the ‘Vintage Artistry Essentials – Shaped Clips – Dark Greige’ collection adds a little extra.
