Hi everyone!
Today I am with you to show you my first creation of November. I made a layout with a mixture of paper and all kinds of items from the Vintage Artistry collections. I used an old photo from over 10 years ago of my son and his dad, time flies so fast, it seems to me it hasn’t been that long.
For this layout, I planned to put ink or paint stains on the background of my page so I put a layer of transparent gesso to be able to play with my inks and water. I mixed ink, paint, and water to get the colors I wanted, then smudged and dripped here and there. On the background paper, I also stamped in a few places with gray permanent ink, and a few stamps the Pascale’s Rations Stamp and Always Together Stamp sets. I also stamped seam squares with Versamark and embossed with white embossing powder and a heat gun. Under the photo I put different pieces of Vintage Artistry Ephemera Stack Sage and Natural, I also cut flowers in these pieces of ephemera. The clocks come from the die-cut sheet from the Vintage Artistry Coral collection and the poppy comes from the Irrevocable Beauty collection.
In the bouquets of flowers, I put shapes molded in resin that I painted, some foliage, and some flowers. I also stamped flowers with the Wedded Bliss Stamp Set with white ink on heavy vellum paper which I then embossed with clear embossing powder, then cut them out, and slip into the flower bouquets. I stamped the word together from Always Together Stamp Set with black ink on a small piece of paper from the cutout tape at the bottom of the paper I took for the background. I finished with white drops.
