Hello again dear Creative Friends!
Just as you think you have seen the most beautiful 49 and Market collection, they stun you with an even more gorgeous collection! Isn’t the Serenity collection absolutely just gorgeous? The soft watercolor designs in shades of blues are just stunning! I chose this photo of one of our cats, Mieuw Mieuw, he was such a serene character, maybe that is why I choose to scrapbook him this time! And I decided on the Tomato red flowers to make it pop.
I used the perfectly coordinating Serenity Solids to frame the background, with the Serenity Fluttering Trio as the background of the layout. All the edges are distressed, with stitched Washi tape and elements from the Curator Essential laser cut pack.
The red flowers were toned down a bit by dry brushing them with white gesso. I splattered it with red water-color paint to repeat the red color on the layout. I also punch on the right-hand side of the layout.
There is a few layers of paper and laser-cut elements behind the photograph, I also raised the photo with cardboard. I created an embellishment cluster with red flowers and green leaves. You will also notice a metal index clip and rub-on transfer phrases randomly scattered on the background.
The title of the layout is a rub-on transfer “Today” found on the 12 x 12 Serenity Transfer Rub-on sheet and the rest of the sentiments is from the Serenity Laser cut pack. I randomly splattered around the red flowers to repeat the color. And that is it!
