Hi dear 49 and Market friends and fans. Summer months are finally here. I hope you are all enjoying some free time under the warm summer sun. We had a short vacation with my family a week ago and now I’m back to work. Summer months are some of the busiest months of the year for me as I make a lot of custom orders for weddings and right now weddings are in full swing. So I decided to play with gorgeous 49 and Market wedding laser cuts, “Wedded Bliss”, and make a layout with them.
I don’t use my family photos on my DT work usually. I kind of don’t feel so comfortable to share them on the internet. So I decided to buy a photo from one of the sites with royalty free professional photos. You can of course take one from your family collection and put your memories on paper, or you can just decide to play a bit, create freely and do as I did. I feel that creative process give us so many options and the results of it are as beautiful as they are exactly for these options we decide to choose. So don’t feel bounded by anything and just follow your heart. That’s when the most beautiful things happen.
I decided to combine two collections for my layout. For the background I used this beautiful paper called “Reflections” from the Sweet Reflections paper collection. I decided where on the layout I want to put my photo and then started positioning embellishments around it. I used embellishments from “Wedded Bliss” Laser cut sheet and added some gorgeous 49 and Market flowers from both old and new flower collections. I used some cardboard to put underneath some of the embellishments, to raise them a bit above the others and add some depth and interest to my page. I also used the quotes at the bottom of the sheet and added them to my page.
I love the gentleness and sweetness of the layout that came out of joining together these two gorgeous 49 and Market collections. I feel that the gorgeous branch with the nest in the bottom half of the layout and the upper part with a quote on the background paper compliment the photo so nicely and fit perfectly to the “Wedded Bliss” Laser cut embellishment I added.
I love beach themed weddings. If I would plan my wedding again today, I would definitely go with it. What about you? What kind of wedding did you have? What does your dream wedding look like?
