Hello, dear 49 and Market fans! Antonia Moreno once again, sharing with you a new layout. First of all, I want to remind you that we’ve a great Facebook 49 and Market Fans page to which you’re invited to join. It’s a great place to share, inspire and get inspired. And we all are deserving to see your layout versions!!
And now, my first October inspirational layout for you. Although Autumn is here with us and weather is getting cold in some places, I still wanted to use some of the great papers from the summer mini paper collections and this wonderful photo of summer memories.
This time I decided to use this beautiful maritime paper as the background, along with the gears archival board. It’s a combo that I like a lot. Nevertheless, I was doubting the flowers. When I create for boys, always have the same conversation with myself: should I use flowers or not? After searching in my stash I found these beauties: new releases that have a two tone shade. They were great for my layout, so I finally took them.
The first thing I did was glue down the layered embellishments and, afterwards, stamp here and there for some textured background. Then, it was time for the flowers and laser cuts! I love to use them as layers. Don’t be afraid of cutting out some parts of the flowers if that helps you to give the layout the shape you want to create. Finally, I attached the photo and the title (previously painted with liquid ink). To add some more texture, I used art stones, beads and Wishing Bubbles from the Layered Embellishments.
