I am so excited to be able to share my first design team layout with you all.

For this layout, I wanted to capture the lush feel of (some) of my indoor plant collection. The Vintage Artistry Everyday Collection was just perfect with its foliage laser-cut elements from the Collection Pack and the plant images incorporated into the Ephemera Stack.

I chose Golden Dream paper from the Vintage Artistry Everyday range for the base of my layout. I love how there are subtle leaf designs printed on this paper which worked so well with the topic of my layout. I have then created a layered stack incorporating items from the Vintage Artistry Everyday Ephemera Stack with a laser-cut element on the top of the stack. The Ephemera Stacks are one of my favorite 49 and Market products as they make it so easy to create layers and interest in a layout.

Once I have a stack looking how I want, I like to staple it together. This enables me to be able to move the stack around the page, fiddle with how additional items can fit into the stack, without the stack falling apart. Once I am ready to proceed, I stick it down with foam tape to add dimension. I never stick tape right at the edges as this allows me space around and under the stack to add further elements.

The stack of Ephemera and laser cuts forms the focal point of my layout and the photo is attached to it using more foam tape, with a couple of torn strips of the stripey washi tape from the Vintage Artistry Everyday Washi Tape at the top and bottom of the photo.

I then worked around the stack adding more Laser Cuts from the Vintage Artistry Everyday Collection Pack, smaller tickets from the Vintage Artistry Everyday Ephemera Stack, and Sugar Posies Butterscotch flowers and leaves. I use foam tape under some items to add more dimension. The layout is finished with the super cute birds from the Laser Cuts.
