Today, I’m up on 49 and Market blog with a new layout featuring the Captured Adventures collection. This page is to be the first one of the wedding album of the newlyweds. That’s why it is not completely square.
Before applying a layer of clear gesso, I stamped the paper with the Bohemian Damask stamp and a gray ink. Next, I used different stamps to add some colors to the background.
When happy with the result, I add a design with a stencil and the Platinum crackle paste. I let dried naturally to allow the crackles to appear.
While the paste was drying, I die cut a few filmstrips and leaves in a watercolor paper. I colored them with different inks as well as some flowers.
I cut some papers to add under the photo. I cut some papers to add under the photo. I glued the filmstrips, the flowers, and the leaves. I also added some elements from the wedding’s decoration like the brown tulle and the green sand.
To finish the layout, I splattered a black ink and white gold glitter mixed with soft matte gel.
