Hi everyone!
Today I am with you to show you my first creation of May. I rarely do layouts with a dark background paper, I find it difficult but this dark paper is too good looking so I couldn’t help but use it to do the mapping background, I played around with pale contrasting colors on top.
I love this photo of my son giving me flowers he has plucked. For this layout, I used lots of beautiful things from the Vintage Artistry Essentials collection. I made writing patterns on the background paper with stencil and chalk paste. Under the photo, I put a sheet of the 6×8 pad paper. I really like this paper size it’s very easy to integrate on a page. I like the piece of paper with the butterfly that I cut from a 6×8 paper, it even looks off the paper. I also put a packaged piece of ephemera bits.
Then I made the bouquet of flowers. I used three colors from the new flower collections, the new ones are so beautiful. In the bouquet, I also put laser-cut pieces, foliage, small branches, flowers, and a small butterfly.
I added two small hearts from the chipboard board still from the same Vintage Artistry Essentials collection. Then I added some Rub-ons designs, I love the Rub-ons they are so easy to use and look great immediately.
I added a novelty, a metal clip in the shape of an arrow and some wishing green bubbles. I finished with a few white drops that I did with Gloss spray white.
