“Take Your Time” by Veena Chowdhry

Hello Crafty Friends,

This is Veena here on 49 and Market blog with another inspiration. I have created a layout using the gorgeous “Vintage Artistry Everyday 12×12 Collection”. I have used a photo by Evgeniiya Yuzhnaya in this layout.

For the background, I started by cutting a strip from “Vintage Artistry Everyday – Lucent Ladies” paper. Then I applied clear gesso on it and on “Vintage Artistry Everyday – Solitude” paper. I then added texture on both the papers and added “Snowflake Tinsel” embossing powder on it, and heat embossed after. I then adhered the “Vintage Artistry Everyday – Lucent Ladies” paper on left side of “Vintage Artistry Everyday – Solitude” paper. I added a piece a thick chipboard in between the papers. Then I added lace laser cut “Vintage Artistry Everyday 12×12 Collection”.

Once the base was ready, I started building the composition by stacking “Vintage Artistry Everyday Ephemera Stack” elements. I added a piece of cardboard in between to add dimension. I then selected a photo and used “Burlap Ribbon – Natural 4″ X 1m” piece to create the background for the photo. I also used “Vintage Artistry Sage Stitch Frame” for the photo and adhered it on the ephemera layer.

Then I picked gorgeous leaves laser cut from “Vintage Artistry Everyday 12×12 Collection Pack” and adhered it on the left side of the photo. I also added a flower cluster using “Flower Mini Series 01 – Ginger”, “Wildflowers – Ginger” and “Sugar Posies – Butterscotch” flowers. I then created a smaller composition on the top right corner to balance it.

After that, I added birds and butterflies laser cuts to add interest to the layout. Next, I added “Vintage Artistry Essentials – Rub-On Transfers” to enhance the beauty of the layout. Then I white embossed chipboards and added under the flowers layers in both main and small composition.

I adorned the layout using glitters, pearls, glass beads and art stones. In the end, I applied green spray color with brush under the composition to add depth.
