Hi everybody!
I hope you are well? Today I am with you to show you my first layout for April. For this creation, I used the magnificent Vintage Artistry Sage collection. I used a photo of my son when he was younger. Time flies so quickly he is now as tall as me.
I will describe to you a little how I proceeded. To start, I put a layer of transparent gesso all over the background paper, this allows you to be able to play with ink, paints … without the paper absorbing it. Then with a stencil and Distress ink and a little water, I made some patterns. I stamped directly onto the backing paper with Always Together Stamp Set and Versamark and put in some white embossing powder which I heated in a heat gun.
I also stamped large letters with Snapshots of Yesterday Stamp Set, Gratitude Today Stamp Set in permanent black ink. Under the photo, I put a 6×6 paper and ephemera from the Vintage Artistry Sage and Natural collection. I use several pieces of Rub-ons. Words, flowers, writing …. that I put here and there. I love Rub-ons, they decorate a page very quickly and very well.
I also added beautiful Washi tape still from the same Vintage Artistry Sage and Natural collections. Now it’s the turn of the flowers, what I like most to put on my creations, they are so beautiful !!! I cut out pieces of the foliage wreaths and foliage from the Layered Embellishments Wedgewood package. Now it’s the turn of the flowers, what I like most to put on my creations, they are so beautiful !!! I cut out pieces of the foliage wreaths and foliage from the Layered Embellishments Wedgewood package. I created a color combo with lots of flowers of a few different colors, Mint, Salmon, Sea glass, and Ginger.
And I finish with lots of little white drops everywhere.
