Hi 49 and market fans!
Today I am up on 49 and Market blog with my last layout for October. It’s already Autumn, time passes so quickly. For this layout, I used a photo of my youngest son when he was a baby, I really like this photo. Already at this age, he looked like a little rascal. So here is my layout.
I used a mix of the Vintage Artistry Sky and Vintage Artistry Butter collections. This time, as I didn’t use liquid ink to make the background, I didn’t need to add gesso on the background paper, I find that the stamped images look nicer directly on the paper. So on the background paper, I stamped the big letters, rectangles, and texture with a gray permanent ink. With the same ink, a small sponge, and a stencil, I made little stars here and there. Below the photo, I used several die-cut from the Vintage Artistry Ephemera Stack in Butter and Sky. I inked the edges with the same gray ink and aged them by tearing the cardboard a little here and there. I added a large cardboard circle that I colored in dark brown.
Then I made a big bouquet with lots of flowers, laser cut foliage from the Bold and Beautiful collection, and some chipboards that I embossed with Embossing Glaze Walnut Stain. I added some butterflies cut from a sheet of the Ethereal collection and 2 arrows from the Vintage Artistry Sky laser-cut sheets. To finish, I made lots of small white drops with Splash! ink.
