“Sunshine” by Gerry van Gent

Happy 1st of October crafty friends!

We are having a lovely autumn season here in The Netherlands. The sun is shining during the day and the evenings began to be chilly. For me the evenings are perfect to get creative so me & my friend, the latte macchiato, are enjoying then some creative time together 🙂

I am so much in love with the latest Heirloom Botanicals collection and, of course the new flowers. For my blog post today I once again prepared a layout featuring them.

To mat the photo I used a piece of leftover pattern paper from the collection and a die frame (Sizzix). The frame itself was decorated with the gorgeous fussy cut patterns (“Cut Outs”).

I loved the idea to decorate the Garden Vine with small “things” like the wrapped letters.

I placed the fussy cut suitcases under the arm so I can make it look like she is leaning against them. Then I added other embellishments to decorate the suitcase.

And more fussy-cut embellishments…

I often add sugar dots to my layouts – I used them instead of paint drops.

And as always dimension is important part of my design 🙂

Thank you for being with me today!
