Sunny Day – Layout by Marie Sabatier

Hello everyone,

For my first inspiration of this month of August, I made a layout with the new collection «Vintage Artistry Beached» this is my first creation with this collection and I was looking forward to using it. In the photo it is my little girl Mia taken last year, I chose to print it in black and white for a better result to my liking.

I used the «Uninhibited» paper from the 12 X 12 collection pack, I first applied a layer of transparent gesso. Under my photo, I added cute laser sheets included in the pack and also Ephemera Bits from the same collection. I positioned and framed my photo and then continued to add embellishments all around.

I preferred the turquoise color for the choice of my embellishments so I also chose the flowers «Royal Spray Ocean Jade».
It’s very rare but I did add on the bottom of my page «Delphinium Turquoise» and «Clam Bake Beige» ink from Lindy’s Gang mixed with white gesso to accentuate these two colors.

For more fantasy, on the left side of my page, I added the flower in Rub-on, on the top of the «Washi Tape».

To finalize I added pebbles, drops of white gesso and especially «Wishing Bubbles and Trinkets».
