Hello!
I don’t know how it happened, but I haven’t created a layout with the “Shipwreck” collection yet! It’s time to rectify this oversight. I decided to create a round layout, my favorite. I used the “Beached” page which goes from light blue to dark navy blue, almost black. I decided to separate this moment of transition with lace, which is also to imitate sea waves.
I primed the paper with a transparent gesso and applied a structural paste. While the paste was still wet, I sprinkled it with embossing powder and heated it. I got little shiny circles, bubbles of air.
Then I built the main composition around the woman’s photo. For this, I used a few pieces of paper from the Lilac Ephemera Stack. I added flowers from several collections: Wildflowers (punch and cobalt) and Flower Mini-Series (blush). I enriched the composition with laser-cut elements, chipboard, lace, clay elements, gauze, and a lot of pink moss. To balance the composition, on the opposite side, I glued a little composition. SUMMER inscription made of plexiglass and I colored with alcohol inks. Finally, I added some beads and glitter, because it is known that there are only treasures in the sea.
Here and there I glued stickers from the “Underwater” layered embellishment set.
I hope you like the project and have a nice day!
