Hello, 49 and Market fans!
Here I am once again with a new layout for you. I’m sure that you know how much I love to look for and use inspiring photos. This is one of them: Laneya Grace photographed by Tina Maliga. A wonderful black and white photo that reminds me to recommend you to use more bnw photos on your scrapbooks. They fit on every project and match all colors!!
It was clear to me that I wanted to use the gorgeous Irrevocable Beauty collection. So I looked for a frame paper and cut it out. Then, I worked on the background with some crackle texture paste and stamps. The 12×12 frame was glued down onto the background adding some cardboard to elevate it. This lets add more layers and play with cut-outs. I enjoyed a lot making some fussy cuts on the papers (post box, birdies, leaves, flowers….).
The hardest part was working on the chipboards. I painted them in two colors (green and pink) and also added some crackle paste. The title was painted with black gesso and I used some green wax over it. Then it was time for composition. This is the part I like the most. Firstly, I used some stacks to mat the photo and then, added the wonderful 49&Market flowers around.
When everything was glued down, I took layered embellishments to add texture and more layers. Love how they show on the final project. Afterwards, just added final touches with art stones and color splashes.
