Hello 49andmarket friends.
Tina back with you to share a very cute layout I have created using the gorgeous papers from the Vintage Artistry in Color Collectors Edition Volume 1. This is called “Some kind of wonderful”.
For my layout project today I have used a older photo that I took a photo of and tried to enhance of my little sister. I think it really is an adorable photo of her looking through her legs. I recall this was something she did regularly. Very cute ! So with this in hand I went to work finding papers and come across this gorgeous paper from the Collectors Edition. Paper 1. I used it back and front and did a little layering with distressed papers. I also added in amongst the layering some 49andMarket white trim. It was cut into a number of sections to highlight areas of my page.
Once I had layered up my background paper I added in rub-ons from the Everyday Essential Rub-ons. I have used all of the writing in brown along with the cute butterflies and the title “Some kind of wonderful” These worked beautifully and are just the right kind of embellishment that I needed to complete the background.
I then went to work finding the right colours to co-ordinate with this project. And of course from my huge collection of 49andmarket flowers I find just the right ones. They were the Mint and Sea Glass Enchanted Petals collection and Ballet Slipper from the larger pack of flowers being the Garden Petals. This took me a little time to find the right placement for them all and there were a lot but I used every single one from these packs. Some I have cut in half but there are many layers on this project. Finishing off I added in some mdf pieces that were coloured in white ink and then a little of Star Dust stickles to make them sparkle that much more. Also some fine grain grit was added in for more details along with splatters of white ink and a blue bow to keep with the cute factor.
