Hello,
I am delighted to see you again for my second inspiration of this month of January. For this layout I used the collection «Vintage Artistry In the Leaves» and I chose the paper «Harvest» these mixtures of colors orange, yellow and green are totally vibrant and seem to me adapted to the colors of spring too. I chose this photo of my granddaughter taken last year for the green background matching my paper.
I started by positioning in offset of my photo this frame which is in the pack of the collection 12×12. I didn’t want to hide the drawings that are on the left side they are so WOW. I usually arrange my clusters of embellishments next to my photo but here I tried to do otherwise by slightly shifting which allows to let the drawings of the paper appear.
I also played with the transparency of the embellishments «Foliage» they are simply extraordinary. To come back to my cluster of embellishment I mainly used the «laser cut sheets» of the pack of the collection 12×12 by inserting paper flowers «Royal Posies Olive Paper» and «Royal Spray Olive Paper». Under my photo, I used «Die Cut Shapes» of the «Ephemera Bits» pack of the same collection and I let these two laser cut sheets look like lace I love!
I used on the right side transparent «foliage» and butterflies of different textures. For more details, I added some text and some splatters with the rub-on transfers.
For a touch of fantasy, I added this metal embellishment from the collection «Vintage Artistry Essentials» word Clips Rose Gold «memories» and some «Wishing Bubbles and Trinkets».
