Hello!
My daughter is already a teenager with her “almost adult” problems. And I miss my little baby who was always happy and talkative. I decided to create a layout with a little girl for whom her birthday was a great event. A merry sweet child who has fun at their party.
I used the page “Love Letters” from the collection “Vintage Artistry” in coral color. A beautiful, elegant, illuminating collection. I primed the paper with a transparent gesso and applied a chalky structural paste in a light gray color. This way I got tiny sweethearts.
For a bit of contrast, I used the “Ticket Express” stamp in black. Then I built the main composition around the girl’s photo. For this, I used a few pieces of paper from “Collage Stacks” sets: natural and coral. I also glued a lovely frame from the “Coral Stitched Frames” set. Little girls like pompoms, so there were a few of them below the picture. I added flowers from several collections: Daisy Stems (white), Botanical Potpourri (snow), and Vintage Shades Potpourri (cerise). I enriched the composition with chipboard, guipure, and ribbon. And a little metal crown, of course. For the balance of the composition, on the opposite side, I glued the SMILE inscription made of plexiglass and decorated it with flowers.
Finally, I added some sequins and glitter, which is what little girls love. I hope you like the project and have a nice day!
