Seek – Layout by Marie Sabatier

Hello everyone,
I’m back here for my second inspiration  of November, I take advantage of this layout to introduce you a new arrival in our family, it is SAYKA who has just turned 2 months. I never scraped our pets, but that little face really inspired me. I thought the color of his coat would go perfectly with this paper «Tattered Wings» from the collection «Vintage Artistry Naturalist».

To start I applied a layer of clear gesso on the background. I realized this layout in all simplicity. I used mostly the laser cut sheets that are in the pack of the 12×12 collection. My starting point was the door placed on the background of my layout. I layered some «Ephemera Bits» under my photo.

Then I added the embellishments. I focused more on the left side of my layout, by inserting laser cut sheets and flowers from the collection «Royal Posies Sunshine» and «Rustic Blooms Cranberry».

On the bottom of the photo I added two strips of paper lace that I like very much. They served as a support to continue to arrange my embellishments.

I also added “Ephemera Bits” and “Chipboard Stickers”. Not to mention a few «Wishing Bubbles and Trinquets» for the little extra details.

My layout is finished, I hope it has given you some inspiration.
