Hey all,
Nicole here with my newest project using the Vintage Artistry Everywhere collection! This is a beautiful new travel themed collection for any of your vacation pictures.
I started my project off with paper piecing. I wanted to make a circle on this layout so I used the Ticket Montage paper from the 12×12 Collection Pack to get me started. I used a compass to make a circle that was falling off the page. I then mounted it with dimensional squares onto the Pilgrimage paper, I just love the bright orange of this paper! I then arranged my photo on the page, which is of my daughter exploring the reef in Rocky Point, Mexico, but I didn’t put it down yet I just wanted to know where I was gonna put it.
I then used the Album Rub-on Transfer Set to add some faux mixed media right behind the lower right and upper right of my picture and some rub-ons on the upper left of the photo itself. I love this look!
I went through all the Ephemera Bits and chose some of those to go on my page as well as Florets in Slate and Nature’s Bounty in Taffy and Pistachio florals. I also grabbed the blue Fabric Tape and placed it on my layout for some more interest. After auditioning where everything was gonna be I went ahead and placed my pic down and glued down all my flowers an ephemera.
To finish off my layout I used a Chipboard Map Frame that I cut and added around my photo, a couple of tags from the Tag Set, a Chipboard Geo Frame down in the lower right of the photo, and some of the Wishing Bubbles and Baubles. I am so in love with the result of this layout and can’t wait to use this collection more.
