Hello my dear friends
It is my first post since the reveal of the new team and I am super excited to be staying on this gorgeous team.
I dont know about you, but I have loved the Tattered Garden collection since the first time I saw it. It is so pretty and I love how this collection combines soft, feminine florals with a bit of grungy feel.
For my first layout using this collection, I decided to do something a bit contradictory and turn the page upside down. I loved the foliage and flowers on the Tattered path page and used it as the inspiration for the way I arranged all my lazer-cut embellishments.
As you will note I used only a little mixed media and embossing in combination with a bit of sisal to add a bit of texture to my background. This created a perfect backdrop for all my lazer cut images, archival board and flowers.
I painted my archival board leaves with #13arts watercolor powders and added a bit of bling to my flowers using 13arts liquid glitter ink.
I chose to do my title in white, to allow it to stand out against the background.
