Hello everyone,
Here is my first layout of this month of April, I chose to make my page with the collection «Vintage Artistry Collectors Edition Volume 1». It includes 6 pages of a limited edition and I am completely a fan. The pastel designs and hues are splendid. For the photo it is a small nephew born in December 2020, happy moments despite the turmoil of the pandemic, he had his first «photo shooting» and I would be happy to offer them this page.
I chose Paper 4, the colors of the drawings are in complete harmony with my photo. This is the magic of scrapbooking. I added on the bottom of my page some motifs of «Roughly Sewn Rub-on Blacks», then a layer of clear gesso. I started to have the «laser cut sheets elements» of the same collection and I positioned my photo on die-cut layers of the «Sage Collage Stacks» and «Sage Nouveau Ephemera Stacks» collection layered with cardboard to obtain relief.
I added a line in chipboard, continuing to add die-cuts. I used the flowers «Enchanted Petals Parchment» and «Garden Petals Mint» to create bouquets also using leaves from the same collection.
Leaves and butterflies were glued with foam adhesive to give a slight relief. I added a “Sky Stitched Frame” a little off-beat to my photo. And a chipboard title that I embellished with Lindy’s Gang’s Silver Moon Mist.
Finally, I added «Wishing Bubbles & Baubles Sky», some metallic balls, and splatters of white gesso. I love creating with these beautiful collections they are complete and harmonious.
