Hi 49 and market fans,
I hope you are doing well at the start of 2020.
Today I am with you to show you my second layout of the month of January.
Here in Quebec, it is still very cold and for a few days there was a lot of snow, even if I don’t like winter I love to make layouts with flakes, snow, fir trees. …. Here is my layout.

I explain a little how I made my page.
To start I always put a layer of clear gesso on all the background paper. Then I use a stencil as a stamp, I put Versamark on the stencil flake patterns and I stamped here and there on the background paper, then I sprinkle with Weathered white embossed powder and I heat with a heat gun to melt. With a brush and embossing liquid I made lots of drops on my page and I embossed with the same powder as the flakes, it gives a lot of texture to the page, unfortunately, it is difficult to see in the photo. I added color to the background with liquid acrylic and paint thinned
with water.

I have cut fir trees with a die in the Burlap Ribbon which I previously coated with transparent glue so that the fibers don’t separate. For the composition, I used several elements of Vintage Artistry Sky Collage Stack, paper straws, flowers, chipboards, cutouts of fir branches and mistletoe leaves, small branches, a molded piece, small metal stars, and Whishing Bubbles.

And finally, I made white drops here and there with watercolor and Splash! ink and I put a little fake snow all over the elements of the composition.
