Hello Crafty Friends,
This is Veena here on 49 and Market blog with a Post/Mail Box-shaped album holder. To create this, I have used the “Irrevocable Beauty” collection. I was inspired by the “Post Box” fussy cut element from the collection.
I started by creating a Post Box holder from the thick chipboard sheet, post box was drawn on paper first to get the right measurements for the front and the back. I used heavy black card stock to make it sturdy. Then I adhered “Love Me Loved Me Not” paper from the “Irrevocable Beauty” collection on the box.
I then used the leftover paper and the “Courier” paper from the same collection to create a small box envelope and adhered it to the front of the holder.
Once the box was ready, I started adding the embellishments. I purple embossed a chipboard piece and glued it on the top front of the box. I then added “Irrevocable Beauty – Laser Cut Shapes” elements and “Garden Petals – Twilight” flowers on the box to create the floral composition. The laser-cut flowers were shaped using a ball tool to give them dimension.
To finish the album holder, I added pearls, glitters, and sequins.
The album cover was created with “Timekeeper” paper from the “Irrevocable Beauty” collection. I kept the album cover simple and added only fussy cut elements. I also adhered a handle to the album so that it is easy to pull out the album from the holder.
