I am so excited to be able to bring you a layout with some of the beautiful new products coming your way soon.
On this layout, I have used new Vintage Artistry Essentials Rubons, Chipboard Stickers, acetate Foliage pieces, 3×4 Frame Set, and Ephemera Bits. Although I don’t as yet have the new papers, the Essentials embellishments worked perfectly with the Vintage Artistry Everyday papers.
I started with a piece of Vintage Artistry Everyday Garden Variety paper using the B side which is a much plainer piece of paper with mottled print and some light distressed text. I decided that I was going to use the new Essentials Rubons to create more detail in my background once I had created my photo stack, so I wanted to use a paper that would allow the Rubons to shine.
I used lots of pieces from the Ephemera Bits and one of the frames from the 4×6 Frame set to create the stack of layers behind the photo. I turned the 4×6 frame over and used the reverse side as I liked the darker tone to create some contrast in this neutral layout.
I cut three of the tags from the Ephemera Bits in half so that I could have some appear above and below the photo. The bottom of the tags was also going to give me a spot for some journaling.
On the top of this stack I attached my photo with foam tape and then layered a 3×4 frame over one of my photos to highlight it.
Once I had the size of my stack, I worked out where I wanted to place my various Vintage Artistry Essentials Rubons so they would create another layer of interest. These rubons are amazing and they are so easy to layer up. In the bottom right corner I have layered three different rub-ons to create a cluster and in the top left corner, two different rubons.
I then decided the layout needed a darker border, so I ripped strips from the 6×12 sheet of Vintage Artistry Essentials Washi Tape and placed a full strip down the left side and a part strip at the top of the right side. This product is amazing!
I then finished the layout with some more leaves and labels from the Ephemera Bits, a large flower from the Vintage Artistry Essentials Chipboard Stickers, an acetate butterfly from the Vintage Artistry Essentials Foliage set, and some of the rub-on sequins from the Vintage Artistry Essentials Rubons.
