Photogenic by Ezmé Hartman

Hello dear 49 and Market fans!
I just love the 49 and Market neutral collections, like this Vintage Artistry Natural 12×12 Collection Pack and everything that goes with it! It exudes a tranquility that I find very appealing at the moment. I had great fun putting this layout together. The photo is of my daughter, Electra, she modeled for a local photographer a few years ago and I quite like the fun element in the photograph. She is so photogenic! I combined the natural tones with pink to compliment the colors in the photograph.

I build the background on “Vintage Artistry Natural: Ecology”, I was immediately attracted to the leaves with the pink tones. I turned the page upside down and added another twig and leave Rub-on to the left side of the page. (Vintage Artistry Coral and Natural Rub-on transfers) I trimmed the page 11.5” x 11.5” and randomly punched with a scalloped border punch and adhered it to “Vintage Artistry Neutral: Painted Ladies”. To create a little excitement and stenciled with rose gold crackle texture paste and splattered with pink and green across the page.

I selected a combination of Vintage Artistry Neutral and Blush elements from the Ephemera packs as photo mat and layers behind the photo. I also raised the photo somewhat with cardboard.

The flower clusters were created from a selection of different flowers and buds on both sides of the photo. I layered more elements from the Ephemera Stacks behind the photograph. And I found a doily rub-on that worked perfectly at the bottom of the photograph layers!

To add more dimension and interest, I adhered a piece of cream cotton lace and art-stones, and of course a few small Guiney Fowl feathers! The chipboard title “Photogenic” was colored with pink and green watercolor paint. and then covered with Glossy Accents.

I also added a piece of gauze in between the layers, creating a little softness. And finally, I added a raised green butterfly, accentuated with Glossy Accents!
