Hello 49andMarket crafty friends.
Tina here back with you today to share my next post.
I started out using the Irrevocable Beauty’s Sonnet as my background page. I primed this and then added in textures using a stencil and texture paste. I also added in some stamping using archival ink with Gabi’s Loose Threads Stamp Set. I added in more colour to the background using Distress Ink in Forest Moss to keep with the dark of the edges of this piece of paper.
I cut all the itty bitty pieces from the Irrevocable Beauty bonus laser-cut sheet. What an incredible amount of extras there are in this pack. All the frames were cut individually and backed with paper from the piece called Petrarch. Each frame was distressed and layered beneath this cute pic of my little girl’s feet clambering over walking stones on a bushwalk some time ago. I cut some of the frames in half to make them go further.
Once these were layered up I cut an MDF embellishment to fit around the base and top of my photo to encapsulate the photo more. I then worked on adding in pieces of the fussy cut pieces along with a couple of ephemera pieces from the Vintage Artistry Lilac Ephemera pack and also flowers from Botanical Potpourri, Garden Petals, and the Country Blooms collections. I only used a few of each colours from each pack to accommodate the clustering. I wanted to keep it simpler this time around.
Finishing off my project I added in some pretty flower pearls, a half-cut piece of Dusty Attic’s 6-inch skeleton clock face, and coloured muslin. I also stamped the quote “Not all who wander are lost” from the Wander Stamp Set. I also cut the vine piece that was on the Petrarch paper and added this to the left of the project’s photo. I changed up the centers of the flowers using Viva Decor’s Stamp Paints. Well, that is all from me today. I hope you have enjoyed my project today.
