Hello Creative Friends!
Today I am sharing another layout of one of my cats. Meow Meow is no longer with us, but he was such a character, I still miss him every day. He was also very handsome with big white whiskers, and elegant, and he loved the camera! The colors in the background of the photo led me to the Vintage Artistry Naturalis collection. It is such a versatile collection.
I loved the “Classified “paper sheet for the background and used the “Meadow:” to frame the layout. The edges are distressed with a distress tool and the bottom edge was torn. The paper is so beautiful, that I did not want to add too much to the background.
On the left of the page, I created a little embellishment cluster with a butterfly rub-on, flowers, and foliage. I also added some art stones and a sentiment from Vintage Artistry Ephemera Bits.
I added stitch Rub-ons for more interest.
Behind the photo he focal point, I layered pieces from the Ephemera Bits pack. I raised some with foam tape and added flowers, foliage, art stones, and feathers. You will also see rub-on doilies and paper tabs. The layout was finished off with the sentiment/title, again from the Ephemera Bits pack. I also added some hand-colored and die-cut leaves to the embellishment clusters.
It looks like Meow loves the butterflies! He used to chase them around the garden!
