Moments – Mixed media layout by Soledad Jiménez

Hello beautiful people,

Here I am again, in this case with a layout where the protagonist is my beautiful niece when she was little, today she is 16 years old. This is a photo that I took myself and I have preserved.

For the development of the layout, I have used two of the collection pages Vintage Artistry Everyday 12×12 Collection Pack layering and making a contrast. With textures and pigments pastes, I have made a background of textures and color.

In the assembly of the composition, I have used a resin frame that I have previously aged with paints and patinas. In the main composition I have created volumes with the laser cuts of the collection Vintage Artistry Everyday, the Vintage Artistry Natural Collage Stack, and the flowers Sugar Posies – Butterscotch, Pixie Petals – Parchment. It also has a touch of Lacey Trim – Cream generating a more vintage effect in the composition. Like in the main composition, there is a small montage to match, creating a balance in the project.

As a final touch, I have added the Wishing Bubbles – Fizz and the Vintage Artistry Wedgewood Rub-Ons giving a more complete finish of textures and color. For the title of my work, which I wanted to add in the composition I have used the Scents of Nature Stamp Set with the word Moments.
