Hello everybody!
Hope everyone is safe at home ๐
It’s Elena Martynova here today with my second inspiration for May.
For this page, I chose an old photo of a young girl. I picked up a soft light background from the collection Sweet Reflections: Singing The Blues. I like these translucent vertical lines and small bouquets of delicate flowers in the corners. Using light peach acrylic paint and a stencil, I made the background a little more complex. When the paint was dry, I outlined the pattern with a thin black liner. But not completely and small strokes.
Added stamping using Pascale’s Rations Stamp Set and archive ink. I wanted to make a light and airy page so I used a minimum of decorations and layers: a piece of lace under the photo, plastic elements from Serendipitous Layered Embellishments, and flowers from the sets Pixie Petals, Vintage Shades Botanical Blends, and Country Blooms.
I painted the 2Crafty chipboard with the same paint that I used for the background, and while it was still dry, I sprinkled it with embossing powder with large particles.ย They do not stick to the entire surface of the chipboard so you can see the paint in places. But I am completely satisfied with this point, since the chip fits even better into the overall composition.
