Today I’m up on 49 and Market blog with a new layout featuring the mini collection Serendipitous and the Country Blooms.
I stamped the background randomly with Pascale’s Rations stamp set. When happy with the result, I primed the paper with clear gesso. Next, I added a design with a stencil and gold rose wax.
I prepared two pastes one green, the other purple with a 3D Gloss Gel and different pigment powders. I used both pastes to add a design with another stencil in between the flowers of the first design.
While the pastes were drying, I colored the Country Blooms to match the flowers from the Serendipitous Laser Cut: a mix of purple, wine-red, and light blue. I painted the back of different sizes of peebles with purple acrylic paint.
I glued a book page under the photo of my mom, then I glued all the embellishments: the flowers and some laser cut elements from the Serendipitous Laser cut sheet: leaves, butterflies, dragonflies, …
To finish the layout, I added some glass glitter, microbeads, and glitter.
