Hello everyone,
For my second inspiration this November I used the «ARToptions Holiday Wishes» collection the papers have symbolic colors of Christmas, they are sparkling and I especially wanted to use this «Dazzles» paper This red is so incredible and represents so well «Christmas». I chose this picture of my granddaughter last Christmas whose colors I modified using a photo editing software.
To begin with, I placed a first “Laser Cut Elements” frame in the centre of my page, then my photo, which I picked up with cardboard. A second frame of the “Ephemera Bits” I placed on top of my photo to create clusters of embellishments.
To make my bunches I used the flowers “Nature’s Bounty Paper Flowers – Salt” and “Wildflowers Paper Flowers – Plum” they are extraordinary, then I inserted flowers, tickets, buttons. I also added this beautiful new paper knot that is found in the sheets of «Laser Cut Elements» imitation is bluffing.
On the bottom of my photo I did the same thing. I added ribbon-on transfer patterns «6 8 Rub-on Transfer Set» around the bouquets which gives depth. This «Plum» color is totally in the shades of paper, I love it! I decided to add a little touch of red with the Florets Paper Flowers – Salsa flowers.
To finish my layout and to provide the ribs I added strips of «Washi Tape 3 Roll Assortment».
