Today I’m sharing a project with the Foundations Memory Keeper. This is the tri-fold magnetic closure album in Black. I started by covering the entire album with Curators Botanical 4″ Washi Tape in the roll. It is very easy to cover the entire thing and goes pretty quickly.
I mixed Rustic Bouquet and Sugar Stems for the florals along with florals from the Laser Cut elements as well. I like the look of mixing them, gives more texture.
I like layering the chipboard elements too. I took a shape and added the chippie butterfly to it. I placed this toward the top right on the album.
I used Remnants for the background layers. Adding various florals, blooms, and laser-cut elements. I mixed them up but kept the cluster toward the bottom left corner of the album. You can see the mix of different elements in this photo. I didn’t want to put too much on this because I wanted to be able to store it on a shelf or on top of other books.
I also like layering the chipboard pieces. I used one of the little tags and added a little bloom and hung it with a bit of baker’s twine. I glued it to the little tag where you can’t see the glue. I love the way the muted colors of the blue seem to go with the black/white of the Washi. This little album came together really quickly and can be used for photos and keepsakes!
