Hi there Creative Friends!
I am back with the vibrant and colorful Spectrum Sherbet paper collection! This time I am sharing a project I recently created for a 49 and market class. The Memory-Dex was made with a special collection of Spectrum Sherbet 6×8 papers, laser cuts and rub-on transfers. I bought the design on the internet and I made 18 different Memory-Dex cards, all unique and special. It was different to work on a much smaller scale, but I really enjoyed it. The cards are so cute, I had to share them with you!
The Memory-dex tray was created with two 12×12 sheets of paper and thin chipboard to strengthen the tray. I used paper straws as tracks for the memory cards to sit in. And to finish the tray off, I added some Washi tape and a large ring brad.
I cut the memory-Dex cards with my craft cutter. There are shape cards, tab cards and flip open cards. Every card is embellished with rub-on transfers, laser cut elements, sentiments, tags and ribbon.
I also made small envelopes that close with small Velcro dots. Inside the flip-open cards are space to journal or even add a photograph.
Here is a close -up of the detail on a memory-dex card. It was great fun creating these “miniature” works of art!
