Hello!
Today’s post is “bittersweet” for me, it is my last post and video tutorial for 49 and Market but I want to say Thank you for this wonderful opportunity to work with one of my favorite brands. Today I bring to you a vintage wedding layout that I created as a gift for my husband’s uncles. I worked with the beautiful Vintage Artistry Everyday collection.
I selected the Zealous paper; I just love the tiny polka dot in combination with the typewriting. I made this layout using two photos and I used the laser cut frame to add focus on one of them. I prime the paper with clear gesso and once I knew where to place the photos, I added color to the area with Antique Linen distress oxide ink. I stamped a sentiment from the Wedgewood Cozy stamp set. Next, I made the composition with the different laser-cut, ephemera pieces, and the Posies- butterscotch flowers.
I added some gears and the Memory word from the Memory chipboard that I gave a rusty look with paints. I also put lace and cheesecloth to add a variety of textures. Once everything is adhered to, I added wishing bubbles, art stones, and pearls.
I added some stitches using the Roughly Sew Rub-Ons that add a beautiful finishing. Finally, I gave white paint splatters over all the textures.
I’m going to leave you down below the link to the video tutorial that I hope inspires you!
