Today I’m presenting my layout, which I created for my friend.
This is my friend from school, with whom I share a lot of happy memories and fun adventures.
I used the page from “Old School” paper collection. It’s really amazing collection, dark and vintage, in my favorite colors. My layout has many layers, as usual. I kept it in grey, blue, black and white. And a little vintage beige. I aged the edges with brown water ink. I used blue paint to make the shadow. I primed the paper with clear gesso. Then I applied black structure paste. I also added gorgeous black stamps from “Tickets & numbers” stamps set.
I put the whole layout on a square MDF base, which is perfect to hang on the wall.
The layers under the photo I built from pieces of paper and wonderful frames from the “Natural stitched frames” collection. I also used laser cut elements from the main paper collection.
On the background, I glued a lot of lace. I added flowers from four collections: “Blue Raspberry” and “Sugar Posies Butterscotch”. I also put a lot of embellishments: dots from “Wishing Bubbles” (color blueberry) and “Serendipitous”, metal elements and chipboards as well.
I sprinkled page with glitter, sequins and micro beads. I hope my friend remembers our crazy school adventures as much as I do.
