Hello lovely fans! I am up on the blog today with a layout using the Serendipitous Mini Collection. This a photo of my lovely daughter.
The base of the payout is the Serendipitous “After the Rain” paper on the reverse side. I have then cut down the Serendipitous “Misty Breeze” paper between the flower and leaf print resulting in more or less a square off the paper which I have then adhered to the “After the Rain’ paper. This was then set with clear gesso, stenciled with texture paste and then stamped with a script stamp. I then used a purple ink watered down, splattered it and also let it run through some of the textured paste.
I have then added some Dusty Attic “Flourish” chipboard behind the photo and began layering the Country Blooms punch colour flowers in a cluster.
Included in the layering of the flowers, are all the gorgeous laser cut shapes from the laser sheet – leaves, lantern, butterflies, cogs and flowers. The wings of the butterfly and the dragonfly have been covered with stickles.
I have also fussy cut the flowers and leaves from the left over piece of the ‘Misty Breeze’ – the piece with the flower is tucked under the photo and then 3D’d with another flower off the laser cut sheet. I have added some dusty attic chipboard and pearls to the flower cluster. The other fussy cut piece has been added to the top right corner cluster on the layout, with the cog, some flowers and chipboard.
I have then finished off adding some mini art stones to the flowers and randomly over the page. The title is from the bar code strip off the “Misty Breeze page.
