“Memories Captured” by Gerry van Gent

Happy 1st of September dear friends!

Four months and we will welcome 2017 – can you believe it? Time flies for sure! I hope you all had a great summer and charged your batteries with lots of sun. I bet you took lots of photos to be treasured in your scrapbook albums. Well, share your scrapped memories with us – we would love to see your creations.

As you know 49 and Market released once again amazing products – a fabulous paper collection called “Heirloom Botanicals“, lots of pretty flowers and a few awesome stamps. Today I am featuring the  “Heirloom Botanicals” collection in combination with new flowers and stamps. My design is based on white cardstock which is amazing for showing off all the beautiful patterns in the collection.

I have done an amazing amount of fussy cutting here – I simply love so much all the patterns.

The stamped heart you see here is stamped separately on white cardstock. After that I cut the heart shape and in this way it allowed me to play with the design.

The gorgeous vine was divided into a few parts. I placed them in different places on the layout.

The big bird cage was part of the flourish fussy cut pattern. To give it more-interesting view I fussy cut a smaller bird cage and I adhered it on top of the big one.

As always I used lots of foam tape 😉 to achieve the dimension I wanted.

Thank you for stopping by today! Happy crafting!

See you in October 🙂
