Hi everyone!
Today I am with you to show you my last creation of the month of January. For this layout, I used a photo of myself for the first time when I was young. I used the wonderful Remnants mini collection.
I made the background of my layout with Remnants clippings paper, I put light gesso on all the paper. I made a lace pattern with a stencil and two colors of icing paste. Then I made lots of spots and drops with Distress inks and Liquid Acrylic diluted with a little water. I stamped with the Faded Damask stamp and Versamark which I then embossed with white embossing powder. I smeared the white a bit with brown ink, I thought it stood out too much.
I cut the flourishes in the paper behind the cover of the 12×12 pack, still from the same collection. Under and around the photo I put a frame, a clock and a beautiful paper with bouquets of flowers from the sheet of laser cuts included in the pack. To make it more vintage, I inked around all the papers and the laser cuts.
I really enjoy making big bouquets of flowers on my pages. So I made two bouquets with a few flowers, foliage, full of laser cuts of flowers and foliage and torn white lace. I also inked the flowers with the same brown ink so that the colors were less flash. I added some writing on with the Captured Adventures Set 2 stamp (it is discontinued).
I finished with a few pearls that I dyed with alcohol ink and Wishing Bubbles.
